Relaxation is Important for Everyone
There are different methods of home relaxation tehniques.
Many view sitting down with the newspaper after a hard days'
work as relaxation while others enjoy working in the garden.
For many sewing, knitting or doing crafts is a method of relaxing
the body. Relaxation means relieving all the stress from the
muscles and allowing the mind to relax and become attuned
to all body processes.
When you choose to actively relax your mind and body you should
have a quiet place where you can relax for about 20 - 25 minutes.
Start with the toes and tune into each part of the body up
to your head and relax each section. As you do you will find
that parts of your body that are relaxed feel heavy. Keep
at this until your whole body feels heavy. Concentrate on
your breathing and try to clear your mind of all thoughts.
When you are finished with this type of relaxation you will
find that your body feels refreshed and you are able to start
anew.
